Lahore, Misbah ul Haq won the last test series against West Indies and he got retirement from the international test cricket. He became the first Pakistani captain, who defeated West Indies on their soil. Younis Khan also completed his 10,000 runs haul during this test series and he became the first ever Pakistani batsman, who reached to this distinction. Shahid Afridi is the star all rounder of Pakistani cricket team and he played many valuable innings for Pakistani side.
Pakistan cricket board has arranged the farewell ceremony to give the awards to these Pakistani players on their wonderful and great achievements during their test and ODI career. The farewell ceremony will be conducted on 25 may as the general body meeting of the cricket board will be conducted on the same day, in which it will be decided to give the farewell to these players. Misbah ul Haq will be awarded with spirit of Cricket trophy and Younis Khan will be awarded with the award on completion of ten thousand runs. Shahid Afridi will be awarded with the prizes in the farewell ceremony.
