Pakistan defeated India in the quarterfinal of IBSF World Team Snooker Championship, continue in Egyptian city Sharm-ul-Sheikh, to reach semifinal of the tournament. In this quarterfinal, Indian pair of Brijish Damani and Pankaj Advani was defeated by Pakistani pair M Asif and M Sajjad by 4 frames to 1. The first game was won by India with score 71-31 but then Pakistan proved their superiority by winning nest four games quiet easily with scores of 80-41, 62-17, 84-11 and 51-14. Along with that, M Sajjad of Pakistan also beat M Raees of Afghanistan to reach quarterfinal of World 6-Red Ball Championship, continue also in Sharm-ul-Sheikh.
