Lahore, Asian Champions Trophy Hockey teams are going to play the event in Malaysia. Pakistan team is selected now, and Muhammad Irfan will lead the team. Pakistan and India will play their match on 23 October. The junior hockey team is also selected in which Muhammad Dilber will be captain of the team and the teams for both formats have been announced.
Both the teams are selected after their trial matches, which were played in Lahore and the chief selector, Rashid Junior participated in the trials along with three other selectors like Farhat Khan, Qasim Khan and Waseem Feroze. Hanif Khan will be team manager, Khawaja Junaid will be head coach, Ahmed Alam will be Assistant coach and Nadeem Lodhi will be video analyst.
Pakistan senior national team will be comprised of the played like Muhammad Irfah (captain), Amjad Ali and Iram Butt will be goal keepers. Aleem Bilal and Imad Shakeel Butt will be defender along with captain of team. The halfs of the team are comprised of the players like Tasawwar Abbas, Muhammad Rizwan, Rashid Mahmood, Nawaz Ashfaq, Touseeq Arshad and Fareed Ahmed. The forwards of the teams are included with Umar Bhutta, Ijaz Ahmed, Ali Shan, Abdul Haseem Khan, Muhammad Rizwwan Senior, Muhammad Irfan junior,and Arsalan Qadir.

PHF selection committee has also announced the Under 21 national hockey team to play the Sultan of Johar cup, which is also scheduled in Malaysia and this event will be started from 31 October and it will be ended on 06 November. The Malaysian Under 21 national hockey team will be comprised of the players including Muhammad Dilbar (captain), Talal Khalid and Ali Raza will be goal keepers, Hasan Anwar, Atif Mushtaq and Mubashar Ali will be full backs. In the halfs line, the players like Abu Bakar Mahmood, Imad Shakel Butt, Junaid Kamal, Faizan and Tazeem ul Hassan are included. In the forwards of the team, the players like Bilal Qadir, Sami Ullah, Muhammad Ateeq, Rana Sohail Riaz, Umar Hamdi, Mohsin Sabir, and Muhammad Rizwan are included.
