The ex captain of Pakistani national cricket team, Shahid Afridi said that he is going to lead the ICC World XI in an exhibition match, which will be great honor for him. He is included in the world XI and he will play the T20 match against West Indian team at Lords on 31 May 2018. Eion Morgan was the captain of the world XI but he is not playing in this match and Shahid Afridi will do the captaincy of the world XI.
This T20 match between West Indies and World XI will be played for a noble cause and he said that he is contributing in this cause by playing this match. Due to thunderstorm in the West Indian islands, various cricket stadiums were disturbed and now it is necessary to restore them in good condition and this match is being played to help the administrations of these stadiums financially and they will restore their stadium to the international standard.
