Pakistan defeated India 50-31 to retain the title of Asian Kabaddi Circle Style Tournament. POF Wah Cantt was the venue of kabaddi final match between Pakistan and India. Special measures were taken for the security of players while the crowd was also quite enthusiastic.
From start of the game, Indians remained under pressure from Pakistani wrestlers and 24-15 was the score of the match at the end of 1st half in favor of Pakistan. Pakistan kept pressure in 2nd half also and 50-31 remained the winning score of Pakistan at the end of the match.
CH Sarwar, Secretary Kabaddi Federation, said that they will use the argument of successful organization of Asian Kabaddi Cup to get the hosting of Kabaddi World Cup. In 2012, Pakistan also defeated India to won the Asian title of kabaddi.
