Wicketkeeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed has been appointed as the new captain of Pakistan T20 team by Pakistan Cricket Board. PCB has notified for the appointment of Safraz Ahmed as new captain of T20 team. After resignation by former T20 captain Shahid Afridi, there were news that Sarfraz Ahmed could be the new T20 captain. For Pakistan national team, Sarfraz Ahmed has played 21 test matches, 58 ODI matches and 21 T20 matches. The next T20 match by Pakistan cricket team will be played after 5 months against England.
It should be noted that Sarfraz Ahmed lead the team of Quetta Gladiators during Pakistan Super League and he has also served as vice captain of T20 team of Pakistan.
