After 30 years, the New Zealand team has scored over 400 runs against Pakistan. The Karachi test in 1984 was the last occasion when they reached that target. During these 30 years, Kiwis passed 400 runs 4 times each in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and 3 times in India. New Zealand played 156 overs in the first inning of the ongoing Dubai test which is the 4th time that they played for 150 or more overs this year. Playing more than 150 overs for 5 times was their record in 1972. 5 fifty runs partnership against Pakistan in an away test is New Zealand’s another achievement after 30 years.
