On 13th December at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas (Nevada) USA during Showtime; #1 WBC, #2 WBA and #6 WBO welterweight boxer Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs) will face former two division world champion Devon Alexander (26-2, 14KOs).
Hopefully this big fight will prepare the 28-year-old boxer Khan for the mega-fight against 147 pound champion of WBA/WBC Floyd Mayweather Jr. for which Khan has been talking about since long time ago.
Khan and Alexander were talking about their fight in last December and it should be done at that time and now it’s a year late from then.

Till May 2014, Khan avoided any fight to prepare himself for the big fight and till then instead of him; Marcos Maidana got the fight against Mayweather.
A fighter from past Dany Garcia fought against Khan in May last year and easily defeated him in the 4th round knock-out.
